The Original Brooks Liquid Insulation Paint — trusted by Australian homeowners and commercial contractors since 2004.
Insultec's patented ceramic microsphere formula creates a highly reflective barrier that blocks solar radiation and dramatically reduces surface temperatures. Applied in one or two coats over a prepared surface, it creates a durable, weather-resistant membrane that lasts for decades.

Insultec is a revolutionary liquid insulation coating that uses a unique combination of ceramic microspheres, hollow glass beads, and reflective pigments to block, reflect, and dissipate solar radiation before it penetrates your building envelope.
Unlike traditional bulk insulation, Insultec works as a barrier directly on the roof surface — the source of heat transfer — making it significantly more effective at preventing heat gain during summer months.
The membrane which is the vehicle for the special heat-rejecting fillers has been in constant use for more than 20 years, proving its durability and long-term performance in Australia's most demanding climates.
Up to 15°C cooler surface temperatures
Impervious to rain and moisture penetration
10% acid & alkali solution resistant
Resists mould, algae and fungal growth
Proper preparation is critical to achieving maximum adhesion and long-term performance.
Apply one full coat of Insulprime primer to the prepared surface. Allow to dry completely before proceeding to Step 3.
Apply one or two coats of Insultec by brush, roller, or spray. Allow each coat to cure fully (2–4 hours) before applying the next.
Ideal for edges and detail work
Best for flat, open surfaces
Fastest for large areas
On particularly bad or porous surfaces, it may be necessary to apply three coats for optimal thermal performance and full membrane integrity.
Apply Insulprime first, then Insultec
Fibro & masonry surfaces
Excluding terracotta tiles
Zinc phosphate primer required first
Non-bleeding asphalt & pitch surfaces
Must be sound and well-bonded
Prime with wood primer first
Not suitable for terracotta tiles
